Gamba try to build on win in trip to Fukuoka

Gamba Osaka have some momentum! The Nerazzurri snapped their five-match losing streak by dispatching Albirex Niigata, 3-1, and now they have their sights set on getting out from the bottom of the table when they visit Avispa Fukuoka on Saturday at 6 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.

Avispa are in a bit of a funk, having gone winless in their last four, but they have been exceptional at home. They’ve lost just one of eight matches at Best Denki Stadium and taken better than two points per game for one of the best home-field advantages in J1.

Gamba will have to overcome that fervent Avispa crowd if they want to pick up another win and potentially climb out of the relegation zone, but the Nerazzurri are flying high after last week’s victory and could leave Fukuoka with a winning streak.

The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
