Indonesia national teamer Justin Hubner joins Cerezo Osaka on loan from Wolves

Cerezo Osaka have added an Indonesia national team starlet to their ranks, picking up Justin Hubner on loan from English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 20-year-old played in Dutch academies before joining Wolves, where he impressed enough to make the bench for a Premier League contest against Arsenal.

Hubner is capable of playing both center back and defensive midfield, bringing versatility to Cerezo along with his talent and potential. The Indonesian star's loan is for the remainder of the 2024 campaign, giving him a chance to grow into the team and make an impact as the Sakura continue their push for trophies this season.

Hubner made his debut for Indonesia at the U-20 level in 2022 before making his competitive debut for the senior team at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, where he helped his country to their first-ever trip to the knockout stages at the continental championship.
