Cerezo Osaka 2, Yokohama F·Marinos 2

Two of the J.League’s best teams put on a show as Léo Ceará answered an early Kota Mizunuma goal and then a Keigo Sakakibara tally for a 2-2 draw that catapulted Cerezo back into first place.

Júbilo Iwata 2, FC Machida Zelvia 0

Júbilo pulled a stunner as Ko Matsubara and the league’s leading goalscorer, Ryo Germain, each found the back of the net to drop Zelvia into second place on goal difference.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2, Kawasaki Frontale 2

Sanfrecce would have gone top of the table with a win, but they could only manage a draw in a fabulous match that saw them go in front 1-0, fall behind 2-1, then score to split the points against a Frontale side that is now winless in their last five J1 games.

Vissel Kobe 0, Kyoto Sanga 1

Vissel would have been top of the league with a win over the visitors from Kyoto, but Yuya Osako had a penalty saved and Taichi Hara’s terrific header sealed the points for Sanga.

Gamba Osaka 1, Kashima Antlers 2

#NextGenJLEAGUE star Isa Sakamoto scored for a third match in a row, but it wasn’t enough for Gamba as Hayato Nakama and Kimito Nono fired Kashima to victory on the road.

Urawa Reds 2, Nagoya Grampus 1

Nagoya had a chance to leap into the thick of the title fight, but goals by Kaito Yasui and Thiago Santana were enough to lead the Reds to victory in Saitama.

Albirex Niigata 1, FC Tokyo 3

FC Tokyo have some of the best young talent in the league but it was J1 veterans who made the difference in Niigata. Goals from Teruhito Nakagawa, Kosuke Shirai, and Diego Oliveira powered the capital club to a dominant 3-1 win over Albirex.

Kashiwa Reysol 1, Sagan Tosu 1

Tosu's Marcelo Ryan scored early but Takuya Shimamura's equalizer for the hosts just before half-time meant the points were split in Kashiwa.

Tokyo Verdy 0, Avispa Fukuoka 0

The goalkeepers stole the show as Verdy's Matheus Vidotto and Avispa's Masaaki Murakami both made some terrific saves to keep things scoreless in Tokyo.

Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo 3, Shonan Bellmare 3

It was a stunner in Sapporo as Consadole raced out to a 3-0 lead before Shonan scored three unanswered goals in the final 23 minutes to complete an amazing comeback and take a point back home.
