A pair of Kanagawa sides sit atop of the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League after the conclusion of the fourth round, which took place on March 18 and 19.

Yokohama FC fell behind at FC Gifu on Sunday when Yoshihiro Shoji scored in the 19th minute, but engineered a thrilling come-from-behind victory win thanks to Kensuke Sato’s equaliser and Yusuke Nozaki’s winner.

Shonan Bellmare had an easier time of it at Ehime FC, with Dinei scoring the only goal in their 1-0 win.

Avispa Fukuoka remained perfect since their opening day loss, with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Wellington delivering in a 2-1 Kyushu Derby win over Roasso Kumamoto.

Meanwhile, Tokyo Verdy finished the day in third place thanks to efforts from Akira Ibayashi and Alan Pinheiro in their 2-0 win at Renofa Yamaguchi.
