Tomoyuki Arata wishes he was able to play more at Matsumoto Yamaga, after the club announced his transfer to Oita Trinita on Monday.
The 29-year-old, who previously played for Fagiano Okayama, JEF United Chiba, Jubilo Iwata and Mito Hollyhock, only appeared in three Yamazaki Nabisco Cup games this season.
“It’s only been half a year, but I feel like I better understood the importance of the game while at Matsumoto Yamaga,” said Arata.
“I regret that I didn’t get to play very much in front of such amazing supporters, but I want to work hard at Oita Trinita. Thank you.”
His arrival will be a boost to Trinita caretaker Nobuaki Yanagida, whose side are currently 21st in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League and battling relegation.
