Matsumoto Yamaga announced the signing of Brazilian striker Willians Santana from EC Bahia on a full transfer on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old, who previously played for America Mineiro, Fluminense and Palmeiras, will wear the No. 15 shirt for the Japanese side.

“First of all, I want to thank God and everyone else who gave me this chance to play for Matsumoto Yamaga,” said Willians.

“I want to use demonstrate all of my strength and help my teammates toward victory.”

After 22 rounds in their maiden MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season.

Yamaga will hope Willians can inspire the side to survival given they are currently third from bottom with just 21 points in their maiden MEIJI YASUDA J1 League campaign.
