Matsumoto Yamaga defender Yuki Okubo announced his marriage through the club last Friday.

“I would like to inform everyone that my wife and I registered our marriage on September 29,”the 31-year-old commented. 

“We look forward to starting our new family, and I hope to use my deepened sense of responsibility to contribute to the club.”

Okubo has netted two goals in 11 appearances for Yamaga in what is his first season back in the top-flight since 2008, when he played as a member of Kyoto Sanga.

The Chiba native will be looking to help his club extend their distance from the bottom three when they travel to face Albirex Niigata this Saturday.
