Matsumoto Yamaga announced raked in nearly 45 million yen (USD $375,000) in a fundraising campaign to boost club facilities.
The J1 debutants collected the sum between January 19 to July 31 from local supporters, with the funds to be used to build a new clubhouse as well as strengthen the side’s finances.
Yasuharu Sorimachi’s men are currently 16th in the top-flight table with a game in hand, and will host Zweigen Kanazawa in the second round of the Emperor’s Cup this Saturday.
