The J.League released a complete list of player tracking data compiled for the entirety of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League first stage on Tuesday.
The team that covered the greatest distance across the stage’s 17 matchdays were industrious promoted pair Shonan Bellmare and Matsumoto Yamaga.
Yamaga defender Yuzo Iwakami covered the most ground in the league, with Nagoya Grampus midfielder Asahi Yada and Yamaga’s Hayuma Tanaka trailing close behind.
Shonan were also the team with the most sprints, followed by 2014 champions Gamba Osaka and Nagoya Grampus.
Vissel Kobe striker Keijiro Ogawa meanwhile boasted the most individual sprints, leading Grampus striker Kensuke Nagai and Montedio Yamagata midfielder Kim Byeom-yong.
