Vissel’s quest to stay perfect headlines J1 streaming schedule for Matchweek 4

Matchweek 4 in the Meiji Yasuda brings four more matches live to the J.League International YouTube channel.

Vissel Kobe, who have taken nine points from three matches to top the table, kick things off with a visit from Urawa Reds on Saturday. The Ushi’s perfect record will be on the line against the AFC Champions League finalists, but with their high flying attack and a boisterous home crowd behind them, confidence is high in Kobe.

Joining the Saturday streaming schedule is a tantalizing meeting between Kawasaki Frontale and Albirex Niigata. Frontale are a modern powerhouse, but they are off to a slow start this season and will be tasked with getting on the right track against newly promoted Albi, who are undefeated in a tremendous start to their first season back in the top flight.

The defending champion, Yokohama F·Marinos, get the worldwide streaming audience on Sunday when they play away to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s trip to Gamba Osaka will also be shown live on Sunday.

The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for 2023, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
