Vissel Kobe striker Leandro will miss the next four weeks due to injury, the club announced on Sunday.
The Brazilian tore a groin muscle early in April during Vissel’s 2-1 win at Shonan Bellmare, in which he scored the winning goal.
The former Gamba Osaka and Kashiwa Reysol man has three goals in five appearances for Nelsinho’s men this season.
Vissel have turned around a negative start to the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season and have gone their last three games unbeaten.
