Vissel Kobe are on the brink of the first Meiji Yasuda J1 League title in club history and have the opportunity to clinch the crown on Saturday at 2 pm JST against Nagoya Grampus live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
Kobe entered the weekend with a two-point lead atop the table with two weeks to play and, on Friday night, second place Yokohama F·Marinos were held to a 0-0 draw by Albirex Niigata. That leaves Vissel one point clear and a win over Nagoya would push them to four with one matchday left, clinching the league.
Vissel have had a marvelous season, led by the league’s top scorer, Yuya Osako. Now they are a single win away from being crowned kings of Japan for the first time ever. The crowd in Kobe will be electric and, if Vissel win, the celebrations will be epic. You won’t want to miss this one.
