Ventforet Kofu on Wednesday announced the signing of midfielder Marquinhos Parana.

The 39-year-old Brazilian arrives for his third stint at Chuo Bank Stadium after previously playing for Ventforet in the 2013 and 2014 seasons, returning last April for another eight-month contract.

“I’m glad to once again return to this beautiful country and play in the J.League,” Marquinhos said. “The support of Ventforet Kofu fans never fails to give me strength until the final whistle. 

I’ll give everything I can to help the club stay in the J1 and hope we can give fans results worth celebrating.”
