Ventforet Kofu have announced the February 29 release of Brazilian defender Gilton.
The 26-year-old was signed in the off-season by Ventforet but has yet to make an appearance for the club.
Gilton, who previously played in Japan between 2008 and 2010 for Cerezo Osaka, Albirex Niigata and Kashima Antlers, returned to Brazil on March 3.
