Urawa Reds have been climbing the table with an unbeaten streak that has reached five games and they’ll put that mark on the line when they host Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on Saturday at 3 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
The Reds terrific run of form has come on the back of a defense that is playing as well as any in the league. They have allowed just two goals over the last five matches and the attack has contributed, too, with nine goals over that stretch to earn Urawa 13 points out of a possible 15.
Consa’s attack has been even better of late, scoring multiple goals in each of their last five matches. They’ve scored 12 in their last five, but their defense has struggled so they have taken just eight points in that stretch. That puts a lot of pressure on the attack against an excellent Urawa defense this weekend.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
