Tokyo coaches finish successful Nepal visit

Coaches from FC Tokyo on Sunday concluded their week-long stay in Nepal as part of the J.League’s cooperation with the Sport For Tomorrow initiative.

The visit was the latest in the league’s efforts to support Nepal following last April’s deadly earthquake.

The coaches held football clinics for local children, teaching them important safety information on how to deal with future earthquakes.

The project was the latest J.League collaboration with the Japanese government-backed Sport For Tomorrow.

The initiative has set an ambitious goal of completing sport-related community service projects in over 100 countries ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
