Kawasaki Frontale on Monday announced an update to the status of defender Yuto Takeoka, who has recently been out of action due to pain in his left knee.
The 30-year-old received surgery last week to repair cartilage damage in the joint and is expected to require four months of recovery time.
In his third year at Frontale, Takeoka made 18 appearances, 15 of those off the bench.
