Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Saturday announced the signing of striker Masato Kudo from Major League Soccer’s Vancouver Whitecaps.
Before moving to the Canadian club, Kudo became the all-time leading scorer for Kashiwa Reysol with 66 goals between 2009 and 2015.
“I’m excited to join a club that has been one of the leading championship contenders in the last few years. I hope I will have your support as I play my best for Sanfrecce Hiroshima,” Kudo said.
The 26-year-old scored two goals in 17 appearances for Vancouver.
