Ventforet Kofu have announced the signing of former striker Davi, who has trained with the club this summer.
The 32-year-old Brazilian is well-versed in the J.League, having previously played for Ventforet as well as Kashima Antlers, Nagoya Grampus, and Consadole Sapporo.
“Ventforet Kofu guided me to success as a player and I’m happy to be playing in Kofu again,” Davi said.
“I think the team is in decent condition, so by contributing my talents to our attack I hope I can help improve our place in the standings and keep us in the J1.”
To make room for Davi’s signing, the club announced the release of Nigerian striker Chuka, who scored one goal in 11 appearances this season.
