New Nagoya Grampus sporting director and assistant coach Stanley Brard is looking to form an instant partnership with manager Takafumi Ogura to bring the club back to its former heights.
The 57-year old Dutchman, who recently served as academy director at Feyenoord, was already the youth technical director and Under-18 coach for Grampus between 2002 and 2004.
“I hope that through supporting Ogura, I can help the team reach their maximum potential on the pitch,” Brard said.
“I look forward to returning to Nagoya and helping to create a bright future for the club.”
Ogura and Brard will attempt to return the side back to AFC Champions League qualification, after consecutive mid-table finishes under previous manager Akira Nishino.
