Ventforet Kofu on Friday announced that Spanish coach Igor Labaien Egiguren will be a guest advisor to their youth academy.

The former Real Sociedad and Espanyol youth coach will oversee training of the club’s youth from November 21 through December 14.

In addition to working with Ventforet’s youngsters, Egiguren will conduct training seminars with local youth coaches.

The club has previously invited coaches from Mexico, Holland and Slovenia as part of the ongoing programme to hand their young talents a global football education.
