Sittichok to become first Thai J.League player

J3 League members Kagoshima United announced the signing of striker Sittichok Phaso on loan for the 2017 season from Chonburi.

The 18-year-old is set to become the J.League’s first Thai player, beating out Chanatip Songkrasin who will arrive at Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in July.

“I’ll do my absolute best. I want to improve my abilities, for myself and for the team,” Sittichok commented.

“I’m glad we could sign Sittichok in 2017 - the 130th anniversary of friendly relations between Japan and Thailand,” Kagoshima president Go Tokushige said.

“Of course we have high expectations of him, but he is still a very young player and we want to support him as he continues to improve.”

Sittichok is scheduled to participate in the Kagoshima Round of the J.League DAZN New Year Cup.
