Shonan Bellmare take first place after Yokohama FC draw

The 13th round of the 2017 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League took place on Saturday, with the top two teams switching places after their respective matches.

With Yokohama FC drawing at Mito Hollyhock, Shonan Bellmare jumped into first when Dinei’s stoppage-time stunner gave the team a priceless 1-0 win at Roasso Kumamoto.

Elsewhere in Kyushu, Wellington gave hosts Avispa Fukuoka a boost with his 89th-minute header in a 1-0 win over Fagiano Okayama.

Tokyo Verdy held on to fourth place despite a 0-0 result at Kamatamare Sanuki, their second straight draw.

Yusuke Goto’s second half hat-trick propelled Oita Trinita to a dominant win over Nagoya Gram-pus in the first meeting between the two sides in four years.

Koki Kiyotake’s hat trick and Takayuki Funayama’s brace gave JEF United Chiba a crowd-pleasing 5-0 win against V-Varen Nagasaki.
