Seedings for the MEIJI YASUDA 2016 J.League Championship have been determined following the conclusion of the J1 League’s regular season.

The championship playoff will be contested by regular season champions and Second Stage winners Urawa Reds, regular season runners-up Kawasaki Frontale, and First Stage winners Kashima Antlers.

With just three teams participating, the first Championship round will not be held and the tournament will begin with a semi-final between Kawasaki Frontale and Kashima Antlers on November 23. 

The winners will face Urawa Reds in the two-legged Championship on November 29 and December 3.

November 23 (Wed) – Semi-final

November 29 (Tue) - Final 1st Leg

Semi-final Winners vs. Urawa Reds - Venue TBA, 19:25 JST

December (Sat) - Final 2nd Leg
