Kyoto Sanga on Saturday announced the arrival of striker Lee Yong-jae on a full transfer from V-Varen Nagasaki.

The 24-year-old, who began his professional career playing in France, scored six goals in 36 appearances for the J1 promotion play-off participants in 2015.

“I hope to demonstrate all of my abilities in order to help Kyoto Sanga earn promotion,” the South Korea international said.

Sanga finished a disappointing 17th in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League this term, with the side looking to improve on their results in 2016.
