Sanfrecce Hiroshima confirmed the transfer of Kohei Kudo to fellow MEIJI YASUDA J1 League side Matsumoto Yamaga on Tuesday.
The former JEF United Chiba and Kyoto Sanga player made a total of six appearances for Sanfrecce this season, five of which came in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup.
“I spent a short time here, but I’m proud to have played for Sanfrecce and I have nothing but gratitude,” Kudo commented. “Thank you for all of your support.”
Former Japanese champions Sanfrecce have been soaring this term, retaining second spot in the table with 33 points after last Saturday’s 5-1 victory over Montedio Yamagata.
