Sanfrecce Hiroshima this week announced the signing of Yokohama FC defender Yuki Nogami on a full transfer.

The 25-year-old is in his fourth year as a pro, having amassed a total of 130 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League appearances.

“I’m a little nervous about my first transfer, but I want to work hard in order to quickly adjust to football and life in Hiroshima,” Nogami, who featured eight times for his former club this term, said.

The centre-back is expected to add depth to Hajime Moriyasu’s backline, who have failed to impress this season.
