Vegalta Sendai on Monday announced the arrival of midfielder Gakuto Notsuda on a half-year loan from Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The 23-year-old spent the first half of the 2017 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League campaign on loan at Shimizu S-Pulse, where he made 11 league appearances.

“It’s the middle of the season but I want to integrate myself into the squad as quickly as possible,” Notsuda said. “I want to do my best for Vegalta Sendai and contribute to the team on the pitch.”

The Hiroshima native, who played for Sanfrecce from 2012 through 2015, spent last season on loan at Albirex Niigata.
