Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Sunday confirmed that defender Kyohei Yoshino will require three weeks to recover after injuring his right shoulder.

The 20-year-old suffered a partial dislocation in training on Saturday, and will be out for his side’s trip to face Tokushima Vortis in the fourth round of the Emperor’s Cup next Wednesday.

Yoshino has already played in two Yamazaki Nabisco Cup matches for Sanfrecce this season, though he has yet to make his MEIJI YASUDA J1 League debut.

Hajime Moriyasu’s men travel to face Japanese champions Gamba Osaka this Saturday looking to extend their lead at the top of the second stage standings.
