Sagan Tosu midfielder Naoyuki Fujita will miss four weeks after fracturing a bone in his left hand, the club confirmed on Friday.
The 28-year-old picked up the injury during a training match on October 29 when Sagan Tosu faced the Japan Under-22 national team.
He will miss his team’s Emperor’s Cup fourth round clash with Montedio Yamagata, along with their remaining MEIJI YASUDA J1 League games, as a result.
Fujita has made 31 league appearances for Sagan this term, racking up 10 assists to set a new personal best in one season.
