Yoshiaki Takagi is keen to prove his worth at Tokyo Verdy, after Shimizu S-Pulse announced that the winger returned to his former club on a four-month loan on Wednesday.
The former Utrecht starlet has been restricted to four MEIJI YASUDA J1 League appearances this season, but is now eager to showcase his skills once more at Ajinomoto Stadium.
“I hope to play well over the next half-season for Verdy and improve in order to play for S-Pulse again,” Takagi commented through the club.
Takagi made his professional debut for Verdy in 2010 before being taken on by Eredivisie side Utrecht, where he spent almost three years.
