S-Pulse manager Tasaka resigns

Shimizu S-Pulse on Thursday announced the resignation of manager Kazuaki Tasaka at the end of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season.

Tasaka was entrusted with the team’s recovery following the dismissal of Katsumi Oenoki in August. 

However, he was unable to prevent the J.League co-founders from avoiding their first-ever relegation.

The team also announced general manager Yasushi Hara will be leave his position on December 14, to be replaced by current academy director Michihisa Date.
