Kashiwa Reysol captain Hidekazu Omani will miss the next three weeks after injuring muscles in his left thigh, the club announced over the weekend.
The 31-year-old suffered the blow in his team’s 4-2 loss at Vegalta Sendai on August 13, when was substituted out of the match in the 29th minute.
Otani, who has spent his entire career with the 2011 champions, has 17 appearances this season.
