Urawa Reds on Wednesday announced the signing of Daisuke Kikuchi on a full transfer from Shonan Bellmare.

Save for a season on loan at Thespa Kusatsu Gunma, the 25-year-old has spent his entire career at Bellman since graduating from the club’s academy in 2007. 

“It was an honor to receive this offer,” Kikuchi commented.

“It’s a recognition of what I’ve accomplished in all these years at Shonan Bellmare. I want to give 120 per cent in order to help Japan’s top club win the J.League as well as the AFC Champions League.”

The midfielder boasts over 250 combined appearances in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 and J2 Leagues.
