Urawa Reds held another successful round of fundraising before Saturday’s MEIJI YASUDA J1 League game against FC Tokyo.
It marked the continuation of the efforts of several J.League clubs to contribute to rebuilding in Nepal following that country’s series of catastrophic earthquakes.
The Reds raised 130,369 yen before the 4-1 victory over the capital side, adding to the 403,713 yen they had raised before their win against Gamba Osaka on 2nd May.
The funds will be donate to Nepalese relief through Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific.
