Reds join Sports For Tomorrow Consortium

Urawa Reds on Friday confirmed their application to join the Sports For Tomorrow Consortium has been approved by that group’s executive committee.

Sports For Tomorrow promotes the cooperation and exchange of expertise amongst its 72 members for the advancement of international sports such as the Olympic and Paralympic movements.

In being admitted, the Reds have been recognised for their efforts to promote the enjoyment of sports, importance of grassroots exchange and the cultivation of healthy youth.

The consortium is operated by the Japan Sport Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
