The draw for the 2016 J.League YBC Levain Cup Knockout Stage took place on Sunday night, with eight teams discovering their path to the title.

On the left side of the bracket, Yokohama F. Marinos will square off against Omiya Ardija while 2015 runners-up Gamba Osaka will face Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

On the right side of the bracket, Urawa Reds and Vissel Kobe will play each other three times in eight days due to their previously-scheduled MEIJI YASUDA J1 League fixture.

Meanwhile, FC Tokyo drew knockout stage debutants Avispa Fukuoka.

The quarter-finals will take place on August 31 and September 4.
