Urawa Reds on Monday announced that manager Mihailo Petrovic will remain in charge for the 2017 season.
The 59-year-old will take charge for a sixth year at Saitama Stadium after winning this year’s J.League YBC Levain Cup.
Petrovic also led the Reds to a direct berth in the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J.League Championship Final after they finished top of the overall table.
His side finished the Second Stage of the campaign in imperious form, finishing top of the standings.
