The J.League has announced that Mr. Yoshikazu Nonomura has been appointed as the next Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Nonomura, 49, is currently the Chairperson of CONSADOLE co,.ltd. and will be inaugurated as new Chairman of the J.League after confirmation at a general meeting of league employees on March 15th. Prior to his career off the pitch in football, he was a midfielder for JEF United Ichihara in the 1990s and Consadole Sapporo in the oughts.
Mr. Nonomura succeeds Mr. Mitsuru Murai and was recommended as a candidate for the next Chairman by the director candidate selection committee before being appointed by the J.League Board of Directors later in the afternoon.
The committee also recommended four directors, who were also appointed.
