Montedio Yamagata prevailed 4-1 over Roasso Kumamoto on Wednesday night in their rescheduled 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League Round 10 match.
Naoki Kuriyama’s 21st-minute goal opened up the floodgates for the hosts, with Yuto Suzuki, Diego Rosa and Diego all piling on before the 34th minute.
Despite being reduced to 10 men after Rosa’s red card later in the half, Montedio still held strong and allowed just one second-half goal by Roasso’s Anderson.
