Montedio Yamagata on Friday announced a collaboration effort with “Ted 2”, the sequel to the hit comedy film “Ted”.
Ted, the teddy-bear protagonist of both films, will join the club as a part-time employee and participate in promotional activities aimed at female supporters.
“We’re looking at expanding our female fan base, so I expect good things from him,” manager Nobuhiro Ishizaki said at a press conference announcing the collaboration.
The side hope to distance themselves from the relegation zone when the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League resumes next Saturday, in their fixture against Yokohama F.Marinos.
