Kota Mizunuma is targeting success on all fronts with FC Tokyo, after the capital club confirmed his arrival from Sagan Tosu on Monday.
The 25-year-old - who has represented Japan at the Under-17 through Under-23 level - was Sagan’s second league top scorer in 2015, with seven goals from 32 appearances.
“I’m excited to play for a club as big as FC Tokyo,” Mizunuma commented. “I want to use all of my abilities to help the team achieve an even higher level of success.
“Let’s go out and sweep the J.League, Yamazaki Nabisco Cup, Emperor’s Cup and AFC Champions League!”
Tokyo attained a fourth place finish in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League last season, and have qualified for the ACL Champions League play-offs as a result.
