Vissel Kobe on Wednesday confirmed the full signing of FC Tokyo midfielder Hideto Takahashi.
The 29-year-old had been a regular presence in Tokyo’s starting XI since the 2011 season, but made just 19 appearances in 2016.
“I feel exactly as our supporters do about our goal of winning the club’s first title,” Takahashi said.
“I want to play as I always have, focus on the challenge ahead, and help contribute to good results for Vissel Kobe.”
