Sagan Tosu on Tuesday announced the arrival of midfielder Hideto Takahashi on a full transfer from Vissel Kobe.

Takahashi, who joined Vissel last season from FC Tokyo, scored one goal in 22 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League appearances in the 2017 campaign. 

“In order to help the club accomplish its goals I want to focus on my play, work hard with my teammates, and progress with the backing of our supporters,” Takahashi commented.

“The best part of football is celebrating a victory with the fans and I want to focus on that this season.”

He will re-unite with Sagan manager Massimo Ficcadenti, who managed Tokyo in 2014 and 2015.
