Cerezo Osaka on Wednesday announced the arrival of midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake on a full transfer from Spain’s Sevilla.
The 27-year-old made his pro debut with Oita Trinita in 2008, before joining Cerezo in 2010.
In the summer of 2012, he joined Germany’s Nurnberg, playing two seasons there before spending another two seasons at Hannover 96.
Kiyotake moved to Sevilla last summer, scoring one goal in four La Liga appearances.
“I’m grateful for the hard work of everyone at the club that has allowed me to play for Cerezo again,” said the regular Japan international. “I’m proud to wear the Cerezo badge and I promise to achieve results alongside my team-mates, our coaching staff and our supporters.”
He will wear the No.46 in the upcoming campaign.
