Matheus Savio brought the touch, the dribbling and the finishing to win Goal of the Month honors for May.

The Kashiwa Reysol man was honored for his outstanding goal in Matchweek 16 that helped his side to a 3-1 win over Shimizu S-Pulse. He displayed a great first touch to bring it down, sent one defender sliding the wrong way then created space to shoot past another defender before blasting the ball into the back of the net.

In J2, top goal went to Kazuma Yamaguchi and there was no question about it. The Machida Zelvia man hit a mindblowing free kick from nearly 40 yards perfectly into the top corner with tremendous pace for a goal that nobody in the stadium will ever forget.

This Matchweek 16 tally helped Machida top Albirex Niigata, 2-1.

Goal of the Month in J3 was awarded to Fujieda MYFC’s Yuki Oshitani for his Matchweek 8 goal, when he took a gorgeous backheel flick and chipped the goalkeeper in a 4-3 win.
