Yokohama F. Marinos earlier this week announced injuries to defender Fabio and midfielder Takuya Kida.
Fabio, who injured a calf muscle in the team’s YBC Levain Cup match at Omiya Ardija last month, is expected to take three to four weeks to recover.
Meanwhile, Kida is expected to be back in three weeks after receiving surgery on his left ankle on Monday.
The announcement means that both players are at risk of missing the team’s Levain Cup semi-final clashes with Gamba Osaka in early October.
