Marinos beat Bellmare, cut deficit to nine points

Daizen Maeda's 17th goal of the 2021 MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE campaign was enough to give Yokohama F·Marinos a 1-0 win at Shonan Bellmare in an all-Kanagawa battle.

The division's top scorer found the net following a well-worked move down the right wing that included a spectacular two-touch flick from Takuya Kida and an assist courtesy of 2019 J.LEAGUE MVP Teruhito Nakagawa.

With the win, Marinos cut Kawasaki Frontale's lead at the top to nine points. The league leaders host F.C.Tokyo on Saturday.
