Nagoya Grampus on Monday confirmed that Leandro Domingues, the J1 League’s Most Valuable Player of 2011, will rejoin the team this week.
The former Kashiwa Reysol winger just joined Grampus in June 2014 but returned to Brazil recently in order to receive treatment to his injured right ankle.
Nevertheless, Grampus have announced Leandro will return to Japan on Tuesday before returning to training with his team-mates from next Monday onwards.
The 31-year-old’s scored twice in 16 appearances during his debut season at Toyota Stadium, with his return a boost to coach Akira Nishino’s plans for the remainder of this campaign.
