Gamba Osaka will have to do without the suspended pair of Shu Kurata and Patric for their clash with fellow MEIJI YASUDA J1 League title contenders Urawa Reds.

The J.League released the list of suspended players on Tuesday, with the pair due to miss the crucial matchday 14 game at Banpaku Stadium after reaching the yellow card limit in a 5-3 loss to Kawasaki Frontale on October 4.

Gamba will rue the loss of the duo given Kurata has played an increasingly decisive role for the domestic treble winners as the second stage has worn on, and is joint-leading assist provider alongside Patric in all competitions at the club.

Jiro Kamata and Jong Tae-Se will also miss out for Vegalta Sendai and Shimizu S-Pulse respectively this weekend after similarly reaching their yellow card limits before the international break.
